How to start gardening – Beginners Roleplay?
As we always say ‘As a beginner, start with just one plant and keep adding gradually to your garden’. The easiest plants to start with can fall under different categories of plants. As a noob, you can start with choosing a category and then pick a plant to grow in that to begin with from the below:
- Vegetable Garden – Coriander, Fenugreek, Ridge Gourd, Ladies Finger
- Medicinal Plants – Aloe Vera, Tulsi
- Fruits – Custard Apple, Mango
- Ornamental Plants – Arrowhead Syngonium, Snake Plant, Money Plant, Water Bamboo
We suggest the above as it can thrive in almost all the climatic conditions and is easier to grow and harvest as a beginner. As you advance, you can always add plants of your interest to your veggie patch or indoor plant space.
For urban gardeners, your terrace or patio can always be handy to start with your one plant
This image is a self watering mechanism that you can follow to water your plants while you are away for a longer time span say ten to fifteen days. All you have to do is find a medium sized rope and dip one end to a tub of water and the other end to your plants. One end in the water tub has to be placed higher than the plants.
